Mr president 'am not your fan but i totally agree with you on this because this is a woman that's been making backdoor deals with thieves we call politicians, the next step should be to cut the salaries of our law breakers that call themselves law makers. And the IG of police should be sacked too, because he hasn't done anything to uplift his officers moral and right there wrong, there are now so much egunje's taken on our roads plus police killing nigerians needlessly while they neglect their duties we need undercover like internal affairs that will go after all this corrupt police officers.

Is very unfortunate as a matter of fact, this act is illegal in the saying that, somebody who is doing a very good job may just sacked, corruption is not going to finish!

I don't understand why this is, please can President Jonathan explain the reason behind the SACK? i really need to know because em i think the IGP and security should also be sacked cos we saw the recent bombings in police headquarters and UN buildings and all around shows that they are not doing their jobs. i think we should just know why things happen in this country. kudos to Chinua Achiebe for not collecting the useless National honors, what is the criteria for giving the honors, can we know? cos a bunch of selfish rich individuals were given honors and they have NEVER impacted positively in the life of people.........hiss

It's about time this government started taking some positive steps. They have been lack-lustre so far. This removal of Farida Waziri finally signifies the intention of GEJ to deal with this menace of corruption once and for all.
It has been well known for too long that the Commission had become complacent, corrupt and even guilty of the very crimes there were supposed to be prosecuting. A step in the right direction, but more needs to be done.

The man to remove is Mohammed Adokie, his AG and Minister for Injustice. He is the man beating the drums to which music the woman has been dancing all these while.
Bad music; Terrible music.

This is the only thing GEJ acheived since he was rigged in as the president of this failed state.
Has he got balls or are they being squeezed?

Only time and whomever Uncle GEJ choses to replace Madam Waziri in the long term will tell.
In the meantime, will Dr. Abati and the Aso Rock brigade please inform Nigerians why the sacking with immediate effect and if Madam would be prosecuted for the offence that warranted the ignominious removal?

It's good riddance to Mrs. Waziri. But Sahara Reporters, pls. stop the big lie that "Larmode was among the effective team of the former chairman of the commission, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu". The dishonest Ribadu himself has come out to confess that they were not really fighting corruption under the crooked and thieving ex-tyrant, Obasanjo. Lamorde and Ribadu were Obasanjo's errand boys against his perceived political enemies. Jona has also used and finally dumped Mrs. Waziri. But Dumbo is not trusted by Nigerians. Let him declare his assets as stipulated by the law. Replacing Waziri with another puppet of the hypocritical Americans is no panacea against endemic corruption, much of which is located at the presidency in Abuja. With lamorde, we are back to the Obasanjo era of grandstanding, deceit, witch-hunting, brazen impunity and undemocratic impositions with the active help of the rotten EFCC even as the Americans and Brits cheer on.

If going by what was known as performance and understanding of the operations of EFCC under mr Nuhu Ribadu, then the appointment of Mr Lamode ibrahim is coming late.I pray he would be allowed to do what he knows how to do.
